Outside the Box: Into the Community

Dear Fellow Ministers,

Thank you for the many ways you take God’s love “outside the box” of our four walls into the community and the world! Last week, we celebrated the 31st year of Rainbow Express Camp, heard from Nara Melkonyan about how we can be involved with Project Agape in Armenia, dedicated our new amazing organ to God’s glory, and that just scratches the surface!

Our Age-Level Ministry staff is preparing for over 300 to attend Vacation Bible School next week! Please lift this ministry up in prayer as we have a great opportunity to share God’s love with so many children and their families. This week, on our Bucky Schwartz Show TM, we were honored that Sarah Biggers, our United Kids & Youth Associate (4th-9th grades), shared with us. You can view the video here. Over the course of the coming weeks, Bucky will introduce you to our entire staff. We thank God for these dedicated servants!

Our “Give Me That Old Time Religion” series will continue on Sunday by considering Revelation 21:1-5a. Please pray through this text with me as God forms a sermon in us this coming week.

Did you know that last week, our Age-Level Ministries partnered with Rainbow Express Ministries to host the 31st year of Rainbow Express Camp? At Day Camp there were 70 Kid & Teen Campers and Buddies and another 70 Young Adult Campers at Evening Camp and to top it off throughout the week there were 175 volunteers? This year the theme was “God is the builder of everything.” What an incredible week of learning, growing, and building friendships. It was a blast; thank you to everyone who helped make Camp so special.
