Realm is our community connection tool -- on desktop & app -- where we engage with one another and the church. Once the church has your email, you have an account!

Realm is a product of ACS Technologies, which Matthews UMC has used for many years. Realm is a 256-bit encrypted system, and the only way to set up an account it either through invitation or confirming receipt of a password sent to your email address. Read ACS/Realm's Privacy Policy and Data Security information.

Log into or download the FREE Realm Connect App for iPhone and iOS devices from the App Store and Android devices from Google Play (click here from your phone or device to download app) to stay connected to the Matthews UMC community! Login by simply going to, enter your email (it must be the one we have on file at the church), and click get password or forgot password. Then follow the link that is sent to reset.   • News--Keeps everyone up-to-date with the latest posts, photos, and events for your group and for the church as a whole;
  • Posts--Post messages to your group and comment on posts by others in your group;
  • Photos--Capture your moments together (or while apart) and share them with your group to help stay connected;
  • Events--See event and online event details (date, time, location, Zoom link, etc), submit your registration or RSVP, and sign up to bring something;
  • Files --Access your group's shared files and resources;
  • Chat--Send your entire group, or select individuals, a chat that starts a conversation;
  • Inbox--Send an email message to your entire group, or select individuals;
  • Participants--See names and basic profile details for the people in our church or groups, based on their privacy preferences;
  • Church Directory--See names and pictures to connect with those among our church community;
  • Serving--See a list of serving opportunities & enter your skills and interests to connect with specific roles;
  • Notification Settings--Manage your preferences for group notifications and emails.
