Student Scholarships
Matthews UMC offers a variety of college scholarships available to members of Matthews UMC each year! Each scholarship opportunity has a different set of criteria required for eligibility.
Please be aware, the deadline for the scholarships is nonnegotiable, therefore all applications received after the deadline by mail, in person, or by e-mail will not be considered. Please be aware that only fully completed applications will be considered. Be sure to include all required elements, otherwise your application may not be considered. It is important to pay attention to each scholarship’s individual requirements, because some of the criteria will vary.
The Matthews UMC Scholarship Packet consists of 4 parts: a cover page, criteria, 2-page application form, and an expenses/resources form.
