MUMC Recreation Ministry offers opportunities for all ages to engage in programs to renew the physical and spiritual well-being in a safe, Christian environment. Our goal is to serve the members of MUMC and the community through programs that give God all glory & praise. Try your first class for FREE. No need to sign up prior to attending.
Summer camps may impact scheduling for Recreation/Exercise activities. Please call the Church Office for current summer schedule.
Monday & Wednesday in the Gym from 10:30-11:30 am. Low impact muscle toning with weights, short amounts of cardio, and stretching. $20 per month or $3 per class.
Sit N Fit
Monday & Wednesday in Room 158 from 10:30-11:15 am. Designed for the adult who is not able to participate in our Forever Young class due to health, strength, or stamina issues. Classes are taught while sitting in a chair with minimal standing. This class is a wonderful stepping stone to increasing ones stamina, strength and flexibility. $18 per month or $3 per class.
Monday & Wednesday in the Gym from 9:20-10:15 am. Beginner Yoga designed for adults who want to learn the basic methods of a Yoga practice. $25 per month or $5 per class.
Participants are required to have an updated liability form on file.
The walking track, located in the gym, is open Monday through Friday from 8 am until 9 pm unless a scheduled program is in progress in the gym. The track allows for walking and running in a safe, climate-controlled environment.
Mondays & Wednesdays from 12-3 pm in the Gym. Just show up to play, no registration needed. Contact Camille to reserve your spot or to ask questions about this fun & easy low-impact game. $3 per person for the 2-hour free play sessions.
