Rob Hunter & his wife, Connie, have been members of MUMC for more than 25 years. Their two children, Debbie & Jarrett, grew up in the church’s kids & youth ministries, where Rob began serving as a volunteer youth leader. Rob graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Special Education. After first teaching, Rob joined the Matthews Police Department as a police officer. Upon his retirement as police chief in 2017, God’s next calling brought him on staff as part of the Age-Level Ministries staff team. When not serving with kids, teens & young adults, Rob enjoys trips to Boone and the beach with his wife & family.
