Upon Moving to Matthews, NC entering 7th grade in 2009, Katerina and her family found Matthews UMC a wonderful place to grow in faith. Her parents, Paul & Theresa, and little sister Alyssa have called MUMC their church home for the past 15 years. Katerina, a Weddington High School graduate, went on to earn her degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a concentration in sports broadcasting, Katerina’s passion lies in sports and storytelling combined. Growing up with her parents as two former D1 college coaches, sports have always played a major role in Katerina’s life, and continues as she is an aspiring sports sideline reporter & host. In her free time, if she’s not working a sports event, she’s watching one! Katerina’s favorite pastime is watching the Texas Longhorns in all sports with her loved ones. Hook’em Horns!! Katerina is most excited to be a part of the Age Level Ministry team and connect with the families of United Kids and Youth!
