Items Not Accepted for Consignment
The following items will not be accepted at our Consignment Sale:
- Teen or Adult Clothing Items
- Car/Booster Seats
- Bedding & Crib Linens & Accessories
- Drop-Side cribs
- Furniture and decor that is not meant for children
- Used bottles/accessories & breast pumps
- Out-of-season clothing and accessories (We accept fall/winter clothing only; however, will accept year-round school uniforms, jeans, and costumes)
- Damaged items (from wear or tagging)
- Stuffed animals
- Maternity clothes
- Perishable items/Food/Formula
- Open/Used children's make-up
- Undergarments (girls' panties, boys' underwear, bras, sporting undergarments, disposable diapers)
- Hygiene items (toothbrushes, hair brushes, combs, medicines, disposable diapers, body sprays, lotions, powders)
- Items without appropriate tags or tagged incorrectly
- Movies (VHS, DVD, etc.)
In addition to the listed items above, we also cannot accept Rock' n Plays or any other items that have been recalled. Check the Consumer Product Safety Commission website and SafeKids.org for any items in question. Matthews UMC reserves the right to deny any item at drop-off or remove any item from the show floor we feel doesn't meet the quality we are striving for. Thank you for understanding!
