Tool Collection
The WNCC Rebuild Trailer will be on campus until Dec. 31 then shared among churches in our Conference as we rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Helene. EARLY RESPONSE TRAINING (ERT)
Do you feel led to help responders in western N.C.? We need people to complete ERT (Early Response Team) training to help work teams. These teams are trained to go in first to devastated communities, mucking out homes, cutting trees, etc.

HOME2HOME
Volunteers with a strong back and spirit are needed to provide furniture for people who have experienced hardships or loss. Call the Church Office at 704-847-6261 to serve.
ROOM IN THE INN
Room In The Inn is the ministry to our homeless neighbors in Charlotte, providing a hot meal, a hot shower and a bed for overnight guests during the winter months. As we prepare for the upcoming season, beginning December 5, we are in need of volunteers for bus drivers (we will train!), overnight hosts, help with laundry, desserts and breakfast casseroles. If you are unable to volunteer, please considering supporting the efforts by donating from our Amazon wish list of new or gently used M-3XL sweatshirts, sweatpants, tee shirts, new boxers, new socks jackets, and long underwear. GREENWAY PARK ELEMENTARY
Volunteers Needed for Kindergarten Reading Buddies, Classroom Assistants and other various opportunities throughout the year. Call the Church Office at 704-847-6261 to serve.
BLESSED ASSURANCE
Do you have a passion to work with senior adults with disabilities? Global Impact partners with Blessed Assurance Daycare in Matthews and we need a Champion/Church Advocate (or a team of two Champions) for this group. Blessed Assurance's goal is to preserve the dignity and enhance the quality of life for those they serve by offering a caring, stimulating, and therapeutic environment. This organization helps women build new lives beyond prison walls. Changed Choices exists so that women who have experienced incarceration may lead restored lives marked by healthy decisions, self-sufficiency and contribution to their communities Show God's love by joining the card-writing team for Changed Choices. MATTHEWS HELP CENTER
Matthews HELP Center provides short-term crisis assistance to neighbors in the Matthews community. Volunteer for a four-hour shift, from 9am-1pm or from 1pm-5pm. You can greet donors, sort donations, inspect clothing and help customers. Contact Ida Riddick for more info.
