Youth Summer Jams

Thinking about joining the United Youth Praise Team or just like to play some good music? Come on out to Youth Summer Jams!

Select Mondays in The Commons at MUMC for Rising 7th-12th Graders:
June 8
July 6
July 13
July 20

6PM – 7PM
Beginner guitar, piano, and drums from 6PM-7PM. Learn the basics of guitar tuning, common chords, strumming, & easy-to-play songs in a no-pressure environment.

7PM-8PM
Open Jam for All Youth Musicians & Vocalists of Any Skill Level

*Note that any Youth aspiring to join the 2026/27 Praise Team must attend at least 2 of the 4 jams. Keyboards and Cajons are available to borrow. If you’re interested in playing guitar, you must bring your own.
