Arts & Crafts Extravaganza

The annual Arts & Crafts Extravaganza held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving at Matthews United Methodist Church was started in 2003 and features nearly 80 uniquely talented vendors with one-of-a-kind handmade gifts. The event is hosted by MUMC United Women in Faith and Matthews HELP Center (a Global Impact mission partner) with all proceeds supporting local missions.

The 2024 Arts & Crafts Extravaganza will be held November 23, from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Discover a unique and special gift for each person on your Christmas List (including yourself!) from our vendors, select the perfect dessert to complete your Thanksgiving table from the bake sale, then relax and enjoy sustenance in the Christmas Cafe.

This year, a Silent Auction has been added to support Helene Relief that will be comprised of donated vendor items with 100% of the funds going directly to Western NC Disaster Response.
