The Way Forward: Keeping the Faith and Doing the Work Amid Hatred and Violence

The Way Forward is an in-depth exploration of the intricacies between faith and forgiveness, challenging readers to reassess their understanding of these concepts, especially within the context of racial injustice. The author’s struggle with forgiveness acts as a catalyst for questioning societal norms and advocating for an improved understanding of systemic racism, which continues to fuel violence and discrimination.

This Racial Bridge Building event hosted by Matthews UMC in partnership with Matthews-Area Churches.
