Family Covenant – (9:30 Group)

Meets Sundays at 9:30 am in Room 213/215

A unique blending of two former classes building our faith together with our focus on each other. We utilize a mixture of lecture and discussion-based lessons, always scripture based and often consisting of a series of lessons related to a specific topic all taught by a seasoned group of rotating teachers.

We are driven to apply the lessons taught whether it is service through an existing church ministry or support of a class member. We share the joys and sorrows of one another.

Each year we provide the Sylvia Strong scholarship for aspiring college educational professionals and support various Global Impact initiatives working in service together including a 3 year commitment to Zoe Empowers in Africa. In addition, we regularly gather for various group outings to visit interesting sites and/or restaurants around the Charlotte community and hold our annual Christmas party.

This is a large group study consisting of adults ages 60 and up. This group meets in person year-round with guest speakers during the summer.
