NarroWay Lunch & Show
Travel this August to NarroWay for a Lunch & Show Day Trip featuring The Gospel of Tennessee
Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 10:45 am - 3:15 pm
Bus will leave from The Commons at 10:45 am.
Set in 1926 and based on a true story, this fast-paced musical dinner show takes you to East Tennessee where the fun never ends. Sing along with fabulous old Southern classics and watch the gospel truths unfold through the eyes and imagination of Tennessee.
The Broadway of Christian Entertainment," NarroWay features fun, family-friendly dinner shows. NarroWay is the premier Christian theater of the South. Take in a delicious dinner and hearty serving of southern hospitality as every audience is greeted and served by the NarroWay cast.
Lunch is included in the cost, with a vegetarian or gluten friendly option. Gluten friendly options are prepared in a kitchen that still contains gluten, but these items are made prior to anything containing gluten to minimize cross-contamination.

Fruitcake Facetory & Pottery Center
Tour the Southern Supreme Fruitcake Factory & The North Carolina Pottery Center
Thursday, October 24, Leaving MUMC parking lot at 9:00 am and returning at 5:30 pm
Spend a day touring the Fruitcake factory, see all their kitchens, try some tasty samples, shop and then move on to lunch at a diner. After lunch we will tour The North Carolina Pottery Center and watch a pottery turning demonstration. We will have time to shop for created treasures both at the Pottery Center and a couple of the nearby pottery studios. We will then head back to MUMC and arrive before dinner.
