Elizabeth Carpenton is a Charlotte native who grew up here at Matthews UMC. She has a degree in Religious Studies from Appalachian State and a Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York. She is passionate about social justice and is grateful for the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with our pre-teens and middle-schoolers. Elizabeth lives in Stallings with her husband, Andrew, and their daughter, Faye. You can typically find her in or out of the office with a cup of coffee and a woodsy candle lit.
