Abigail Okland was born in Atlanta, GA but grew up in Charlotte and graduated from Charlotte Latin School in 2017. She graduated from Samford University in May 2021 with a degree in Psychology and a Minor in Vocal Performance. She joined the MUMC staff in September 2021. Singing and being part of a choir is the place she feels most alive. She sings in the MUMC Sanctuary Choir and the Charlotte Master Chorale. On days off, you can find her sipping a good cup of coffee, perfecting her peanut butter cookie recipe, or going on a long walk with a friend.
