Time Out for Alzhelmer’s Care Givers

TIME OUT FOR ALZHELMER’S CARE GIVERS
What: 3.5 hours of respite care
When: On the third Tuesday of each month starting March 21st of 2023 from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm (breaks for summer in June, July & August)
Where: Mathews United Methodist Church – 801 S. Trade Street, Mathews, NC 28105

When you drop off your loved one, they will be seated to enjoy a musical program followed by a healthy meal supervised by our volunteers. After a short bathroom break, they will be accompanied to a secure room where they will spend time listening, singing, and moving to simple songs as well as working on movement and dexterity skills. Our trained volunteers will be looking after your loved ones at all times.

We only ask for a $9.00 donation for your loved one’s meal. Registrations are required. Limited spots available.
